I partnered directly with the founder to design and launch a Shopify-based e-commerce site that made products easy to browse and purchase while also highlighting artisan stories. I also set up analytics and email marketing, then trained the team so they could run the platform independently.

Nurture India had strong products and a meaningful mission, but no scalable digital channel to: — sell beyond local and offline networks

I collaborated closely with the founder to understand the business goals, user needs, and operational constraints, then designed a simple, scalable e-commerce experience that let the products and stories shine.
Understanding the Goal: Clarified requirements with the founder (users, products, constraints, priorities).
Designing the Experience: Designed the site structure and key flows (browse → product → cart → checkout).
Building the Platform: Built the storefront on Shopify, including payments and operational setup.
Integrating Data Analytics: Implemented Google Analytics + Google Tag Manager for event tracking.
Mailchimp for Outreach: Configured Mailchimp for segmented outreach and retention basics.
Empowering the Team: Trained the team to manage the site and tools independently.
I designed and developed a clean layout in Shopify where craftsmanship stays central and shows the beauty of the products, while also making it easy for customers to browse and purchase.

We kept the product pages simple and clean so the artists’ beautiful designs really stand out and speak for themselves, making it easy for customers to appreciate the craftsmanship.
We also included detailed descriptions of the artisans’ backgrounds and the cultural significance of their work to create a deeper connection between customers and the products.

Storytelling works best when it supports trust without competing with the shopping flow. If I did this project again, I would run more direct usability testing with artisans and the internal team earlier, to reduce operational friction and improve long-term maintainability.
